In the fourth quarter of 2024, the crime game genre on Android in Romania saw varied performance across the top five apps. According to Sensor Tower data, here are the key trends observed:

Thief Puzzle: to pass a level by TapNation experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 7.9K and peaking at approximately 13.3K by the end of December. The weekly active users also rose significantly from about 18.7K to over 35.2K in the same period.

Prison Life: Idle Game from Supercent, Inc. saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, reaching a high of 10.5K in mid-November. The app's active users increased steadily, starting at 37.9K and climbing to 71.5K by the end of the quarter.

MadOut 2: Grand Auto Racing by MadOut Games LLC FZ showed a gradual increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching 7.7K. Revenue saw a significant jump in mid-December, peaking at $193. Active users also grew from 17K to over 20.7K.

Agent Hunt – Hitman Shooter developed by Homa maintained a consistent download rate, ending the quarter at around 6.8K. Active users remained stable, with a slight increase from 41K to 50.3K.

Finally, Airport Security by Kwalee Ltd had a varied download trend, with a peak of 9.2K in late November. Active user numbers fluctuated but ended the quarter strong at nearly 12K.
